This blog was set up for the spreads that I do in my daily life art journal. It is simply a Mead Composition notebook where most of the pages have been transformed with acrylic paint, rubber stamps, magazine clippings, bits of my calligraphy, and my writing about whatever happened to me that day.

Stencils
I painted this page with FolkArt "Linen" acrylic paint and then drew the shapes from the patterns on a stencil. I tried filling the middle one with a Caran d'Ache water soluble wax crayon, but it wouldn't blend smoothly...just kept smearing around and around. I also had trouble with a watercolor pencil in the bottom shape. I don't recall having this problem before. I wonder if the FolkArt brand of paint is more "plastic-y" than say the Anita's brand. I need to do some tests.
